“Selene” Earrings by Anna Rita Fabiani
Materials needed :
- 2 Swarovski rivoli 14mm Denim Blue
- 16 pcs Superduos
- 16 pcs Minos® par Puca®
- 16 pcs Tinos® par Puca®
- 8 pcs Amos® par Puca®
- Seed beads 8/0 Miyuki
- Seed beads 11/0 Miyuki
- Seed beads 15/0 Miyuki
- Thread and needle (Miyuki)
- Jump ring and ear hooks
Start by putting on the thread a seed bead 8/0, two Superduo, one 8/0, one Tinos, one Amos, one Tinos.
Repeat three more times, close in a circle and block with a knot.
Bring in top hole of the first Superduo and put a 3mm firepolished, pass in the next Superduo.
Between the pair of Superduo put an 8/0.
Repeat all the way around and take the 8/0 after Tinos.
Now add two seed beads 11/0, an 8/0, two 11/0 and pass to next 8/0 seed bead.
Cross the beaded group of Tinos, Amos, Tinos and take to next 8/0.
Repeat for the whole round and, after the completed turn, take the first 8/0 inserted.
Put a seed bead 11/0, an 8/0, an 11/0 and pass in the central 8/0 of the next picot.
Repeat the whole round, insert the Rivoli and pass again in the newly added beads.
Your rivoli will be embedded.
Turn your work upside down and get out of seed bead 8/0, as shown in the photo below.
Add an 11/0, an 8/0, an 11/0 and pass in the next 8/0 and the following beading group.
A round finished, past in the first Tinos and pass in top hole of the same, to reverse the round.
Add a Minos par Puca and pass to 8/0 seed bead. Add one Minos and climb into the high hole of the first Tinos.
Put an 8/0 and pass in the high hole of Amos, one 8/0 and pass in the next Tinos.
A round completed your work will show up like this... bring in the 8/0, as shown in the photo below.
Now we decorate the Amos by putting three seed beads 15/0, an 11/0, an 8/0, an 11/0, three 15/0.
Put this seed beads only on the first Amos par Puca.
Pass in the next 8/0 and move to the 8/0 of the following group.
On the other three Amos put four seed beads 15/0, an 11/0, four 15/0.
Repeat the whole round.
Your earring is finished... you will have to disperse the thread and cut the excess.
In the 8/0 at the top add a ring, you will need to put the earwiresor the pin you choose.
